terms of service

GENERAL
• Commissioning means you, the Client, have read, understand, and agree to the Terms of Service.
• Completion typically takes 3-8 weeks depending on complexity.
• The commission will be delivered in electronic form as JPG and PNG sent through email.
• Progress updates will be provided at the Sketch, Lineart and Colour stages. Further updates can be requested at any time.
• Client can request up to two major revisions in the sketching phase. Further major revisions, including any major revisions at a later stage, will cost additional fees.
• Minor revisions (e.g. colour changes to character elements or to background) are permitted at any stage.
• I have the right to decline a commission for any reason and I can cancel and refund any order at any time.

Payment & Refunds
• Full payment is required before work on the commission starts.
• Payment will be made via Paypal in GBP.
• Commissions can be cancelled for full refund within 48 hours of commission and only if no work of any sort has been carried out.
• A partial refund of 25% if the Sketch is not approved after two major revisions.
• If a refund has been made, then the commission is cancelled, and the Client has no right to use any images or other assets provided during the commissioning process.
• Payment will be fully refunded if work on the commission has not been started after 8 weeks or I cannot complete your commission due to personal reasons.Usage Policy
• As the artist, I reserve full rights and ownership of the artwork.
• Commissions are for personal use only (icons, banners, non-commercial prints, etc.). Artwork may be posted to the Client’s social media with credit to @illuroses. For commercial work, please email me for updated terms and rates.
• I have the right to use the Artwork on my social media and in my portfolio, unless agreed otherwise.
• Fanart commissions e.g. of characters from any game/series/etc may be used by me to produce physical prints and other merchandise for my shop as I see fit.
• Client does not hold the right to use the product in any blockchain-related technology, including NFTs, cryptocurrency, or future inventions in the space.
• Client does not hold the right to use the product in any AI-related technology, including submitting for datasets, and any future inventions in the space.
• Client is not authorized to change, modify or edit my works without my permission.
